Funds to be used to support Unmade's mission to connect Demand to Production at leading fashion and sportswear brands.

Unmade, the London-based fashion and sportswear software company, today unveiled new investment from Maersk Growth, the corporate venture arm of the global leader in transport and logistics, A.P. Moller – Maersk.

Investment will be used by Unmade to support the development and deployment of UnmadeOS, which is used by the world’s leading fashion and sportswear brands to connect consumer demand directly to production.

Over-production and unsold stock remain systemic fashion industry issues. Poor linkages between production cycles and consumer demand drives an estimated $500BN USD in annual industry losses (1) , and a meaningful impact on global CO2 emissions.

UnmadeOS allows fashion and sportswear brands to address this issue directly, increasing the responsiveness, flexibility and sustainability of the fashion supply chain.

Maersk Growth’s backing follows recent investment from Octopus Ventures and MMC Ventures. Maersk Growth invests in promising, early-stage, high-potential companies in the transport & logistics, trade services and supply chain space.
