Unmade named in Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies 2019 list

Unmade are thrilled to announce it has been named no 41 in Fast Company’s 50 for designing a less wasteful fashion industry, alongside brands such as Apple, Universal Music Group and Shopify. We are also extremely excited to be included as number 2 in the style category.

In its 12th year, Fast Companies ‘World’s Most Innovative Companies’ celebrates the most notable innovations of the year, and trace their impact on businesses, industries, and the larger culture.

The 50 Most Innovative Companies were curated from Fast Company's Top 10 lists, which recognise pioneering companies across 36 categories, from artificial intelligence to wellness. Fast Company editors, reporters, and contributors surveyed thousands of companies to create these lists.

An estimated 15% of all clothes and shoes churned out daily in the $3 trillion global fashion industry go unsold and are dumped in landfills or–worse–incinerated. London-based software company Unmade, combats overproduction by enabling clothing brands to offer shoppers customizable items that are unlikely to sit on shelves.
